Skeetawk Ski Area in Hatcher Pass prohibits geocaches per current company safety policy as of 09/23/2026.  The “Skeetawk” account was originally supportive of geocaches and even performed maintenance on them.

Skeetawk are in the process of having the remaining caches on their property archived and are currently not allowing the creation of new caches on the property.  Skeethawk stated that once building up the mountain is complete, the safety policy will be re-visited.
